Gladstone reveals "Simple Intelligence" at LIW

New Orbit solution will set new standard for independent clubs member management systems

Gladstone Health & Leisure is proud to take its place at the biggest leisure event of the year, Leisure Industry Week (LIW), taking place at the Birmingham NEC 23rd to the 25th September 2008. Last year nearly 15,000 visitors attended the three day exhibition and many more are expected this year. As a major sponsor of LIW, Gladstone will once again be exhibiting its latest developments and solutions.

Gladstone's stand, located in Hall 18, Stand 3116, will have much to offer visitors to LIW. Of particular significance will be the unveiling of Orbitâ„¢, Gladstone's latest membership management solution designed specifically for the private independent club market. Two years in the making and with a team of over 20 dedicated development specialists across the globe, which in many cases is bigger than our competitors' entire workforce. Orbit is sure to set new standards for performance, scalability, and resilience in management solutions, in essence an industry redefining platform.

The philosophy of Orbit is "Simple Intelligence" - it is an easy-to-use, intuitive solution that is at the same time powerful and smart. LIW visitors will have the opportunity to test Gladstone's solution for themselves with a number of on-stand 'Orbit Challenges' where they can pit their skills against Orbit's simple intelligence. Not only will visitors get a preview of the yet-to-be-launched Orbit technology, they will also be entered into a prize draw to win a Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit!

Also released at the show will be the latest version of Gladstone's industry-leading Plus2 solution, version 9.4, tailor-made for the large public sector multi-site and large private multi-site leisure centres, Gladstone Plus2 will be available for demonstration.

Plus2 now benefits from the introduction of Connect2, a powerful web-based solution that enables Gladstone customers to extend the capability of their solution by allowing members to modify and amend their personal details, purchase subscriptions and manage their activities online.

Another new feature, Kiosk2, is an easy-to-use, fast-track self-serve unit that enables visitors to purchase or collect tickets at the facility when they have booked online. This enables customers to pass through reception areas much faster, making it possible to re-deploy the reception staff to other critical areas such as the gym floor or concentrating on building valuable customer relationships.

So as you can see, Gladstone has something for everyone at LIW 2008. We look forward to welcoming you to our stand at the Birmingham NEC, Hall 18, Stand 3116.
