Are you ready for free swimming?
The government's initiative to get over 2 million people more active by the 2012 Olympics by offering free swimming to over 60's and under 16's is due to start in April 2009. It has the potential to be an extremely successful project, but on a practical level, how are you going to deal with the influx of non-members and more importantly be able to record data on usage?
When an individual arrives for their first free swim, after checking that they are eligible, they can be added to the Plus2 database and issued with a special 'free swim card' or 'free swim keytag' which are more appealing to, and less likely to get lost with the under 16's age group. Adding them to the Plus2 database removes the need for checking eligibility every time they arrive for a free swim and you are also easily able to report on these usage amounts which is vital for your level of grant.
The only other issue that you might be faced with is the queues of people, how to deal with those? Why not enhance your customers service experience by fast tracking them through reception with our self-service kiosks? This new fast track ticket collection solution diverts customers away from busy reception areas and reduces front-of-house pressure.
